Humans beware! The Cylons have arrived on Earth and want prisoners! That was the fun scenario of the short-lived but much-loved THE BATTLE OF GALACTICA ride at UNIVERSAL STUDIOS, Los Angeles. Here's a great piece of production art for the backlot exterior, as the tram load of visitors are apprehended and taken into a landed Cylon vessel!
I loved that ride, and have spent decades tracking down, and talking with designers, builders, and scientist that helped bring this attraction together. ReplyDeleteThose that were given a copy of the painting were never told who painted it, and no one ever step up to take claim of painting it. Still an unsolved mystery.
