BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: THE CLASSIC SERIES SOUNDTRACK COLLECTION (8CD)

With thanks to John Johnson for the heads-up.

SPECTRE OF ATILLA!

The IL series of Cylons were always an ambitious breed off the production line, and none more so than the scheming Spectre, based with his garrison of Cylons on the wet forest world of Atilla. With the likelihood of catching a Colonial Warrior recently crash-landed there, it has dreams of promotion within the Cylon hierarchy.

A great scene from The Young Lords, showing the impressive outdoor fort location that would reside for years on the Universal Backlot.

HAPPY 48TH ANNIVERSARY, 'BATTLESTAR GALACTICA'! (2026)

Artist unknown.

The incredible universe of Battlestar Galactica remains as popular and enduring as ever, as the show approaches its incredible 50th Anniversary. Let's hope that, as you read this, Universal Studios will show the series the respect it deserves, and that there are some kind of events and cool merchandise being ready for worldwide fans to savour...

We wish that Glen A. Larson, Richard Hatch, Lorne Greene, Terry Carter and many others sadly no longer with us connected to the series could be here to witness this oncoming milestone...

MISSION INTERACTIONS!

The hostile ice world of Arcta has certainly had its difficulties for the Colonial party sent out to destroy the Ravashol Pulsar. Thankfully, Starbuck, in particular, has the attractive help of Clone warrior Tena during the dramatic mission ahead.

A great publicity image of Dirk Benedict and guest star Britt Ekland from The Gun on Ice Planet Zero.

BEHIND THE SCENES: THE DERELICT TANKER...

An ominous looking derelict Cylon Tanker looms in space above the old moon Cimtar, as seen in this intriguing conceptual art design by Joe Johnston for Saga of a Star World, and whose frontage bears more of a Cylon Raider feel about it.
