The situation is grimmer than ever for our heroes trying hard to put out the raging fires within the Cylon kamikaze-bombed Galactica. And the emotional and physical strain is showing too, as the critically injured Adama's condition soon worsens, despite being capably tended to by both Med Tech Cassiopeia and Dr. Salik, in this scene from Fire in Space.

GOODBYE, GEORGE MURDOCK...

Very sad to hear of the passing yesterday of popular film and TV character actor George Murdock at the age of 81. Of course, to Classic BATTLESTAR GALACTICA fans worldwide he will always be remembered as the good natured and spirited Doctor Salik, though his career, playing heroes and villains, has included a huge array of other sci-fi and fantasy credits including STAR TREK (the fifth movie, playing an alien God no less!), STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION, THE TWILIGHT ZONE, THE WILD, WILD WEST, THE X-FILES and a recent episode of TORCHWOOD.
