'MISSION' AT 45: DESTINATION: LIFE STATION!

Bojay, having been injured during the mission on Gamoray, now heads via shuttle to the Pegasus for immediate Life Station treatment, tended to by Sheba before she joins her Viper colleagues in fighting against an incredible wave of enemy ships now approaching the separated Battlestars in retaliation for the attack on their Imperious Leader...

Apart from the success of the overall mission to capture fuel for the Colonial Fleet, on a personal level, Sheba finally accepts Cassiopeia's place in her father's life, recognising her friendship and bravery during not just the Gamoray incident but soon in adventures and life endeavours beyond this one as the Pegasus survivor goes on to become a warmly welcomed member of the Galactica family.

'MISSION' AT 45: THE GAMORAY ASSAULT!

A Cylon Centurion patrolling the city of Gamoray is soon taken out by the parachuting Colonial Assault Team.

As our small but deadly Colonial Assault Team lands via parachutes on Gamoray, they swiftly take out a Cylon patrol before splitting up on their missions to destroy the Control Centre's anti-assault batteries and detonate nearby fuel bay areas so as to generate maximum chaos and confusion before the Galactica's fuel shuttle force arrive.

A Colonial Shuttle makes a fast journey to Gamoray where our heroes parachute to the surface. The night shot of the city was previously used for Caprica in Saga of a Star World.

Posed publicity of Laurette Spang and Richard Hatch in their black combat outfits.

Surely one of the hottest posed pictures of Sheba and Cassie ever!

'MISSION' AT 45: NEW RECRUITS FOR THE GROUND FORCE!

Two new additions for a special mission.

Commander Cain's bold plan to take the Gamoray fuel depots, approved by a desperate and wary Adama, needs experienced pilots/warriors who have prior flown over the Cylon City. Enter Sheba and Bojay, controversial but necessary choices to the Galactica's parachuting-in assault team led by Apollo, with Lt. Starbuck (who doesn't believe in any kind of one-way missions that this could prove to be!) and the ever-reliable Lt. Boomer.

Soon enough the Galactica shuttle is away, its occupants heading into one of the most dangerous missions of their lives...

Using her status as a med-tech, Cassie joins the mission, whilst Sheba has suspicions about her father's upcoming battle tactics.

Buddies behind the scenes: Richard Hatch and Jack Stauffer on the landing deck set.

'MISSION' AT 45: MORALE SUPPORT!

Relieved of his command by Adama, his superior officer, due to his willful destruction of the Cylon Tankers, Cain seeks solace with some vintage ambrosia in the Officer's Lounge of the Galactica, where he is soon supported by his two finest warriors, his daughter Sheba and Bojay. Both share his frustrations and sadness, pledging support to aid him in any possible way, despite the potential air of treason that the duo's actions could cause...

'MISSION' AT 45: SECURING THE CYLON TANKERS!

Co-ordinating battle interception plans.

As the Colonial Viper squadrons of the Galactica and Pegasus begin integrating, so as to build a strong sense of teamwork, Adama and Cain make plans to capture a supply of Cylon fuel tankers to aid the depleted Colonial Rag-Tag fleet that is now stuck dead in space, ready prey for enemy attack. But Cain is unhappy with the planned intercept scenario, and will deviously find a way to make sure that the enormous fuel depot on Gamoray will be targeted instead. Tensions between the two leaders on future plans will soon reach breaking point.

CLASSIC IMAGE: CRISIS MANAGEMENT!

Things are getting hotter and more dangerous for the small but efficiently deadly Galactica ground force penetrating and sabotaging the Cylon defences of their city on Gamoray. Unfortunately, experienced combat veteran Bojay has taken a blaster hit and must now be group escorted to the safety of a soon arriving Colonial shuttle, in this scene from The Living Legend, Part Two.

CLASSIC IMAGE: BOND OF FRIENDSHIP, BOND OF CONCERN!

The best and closest of friends, the best of combat pilots aboard the Battlestar Pegasus, Sheba comforts the injured Bojay after their previous and tense infiltration of the immense Cylon city of Gamoray, in a memorable scene from The Living Legend, Part Two

CLASSIC 'GALACTICA' COMES TO SCOTLAND!

Fortieth Anniversary celebrations for our favourite show in the US may seem a little muted, but across the continent it's Scotland that will surely prove the place to go later this November if you want to meet four of the top Colonial Warriors of the classic series, at one of their Comic Con events, whose theme for 2018 is For the Love of the Eighties.

With thanks to John Johnson for the heads-up on this.

CLASSIC IMAGE: RUNNING OUT OF TIME...

With Cassiopeia electing to stay with the injured Bojay, Apollo and Sheba must race against the clock in continuing their assault mission on Gamoray, in Part Two of The Living Legend.

This excellent sequence (whose parachute arrival sequences was later used as stock footage to an episode of Airwolf, no less!) would be enjoyed by the cast who were doing part of their action-packed night shooting at California Sate University at Northridge, Los Angeles. This same location would also be used for futuristic Star Fleet Academy locations in the 2009 Star Trek movie from J.J. Abrams.

'SAGA' ORIGINAL FICTION: STARRING COMMANDER CAIN IN 'THE SEARCH'

Commander Cain shares battle tactics with Commander Adama and his team, in plans to seize some Cylon tankers, during an important moment from The Living Legend part one.

Back in the nineties, I wrote some fan fiction on my old word processor and created a story for the legendary Cain set after the events of Hand of God. Part of a trilogy of tales which was kindly published at the time by the then British GALACTICA fan magazine/club, The Thirteenth TribeThe Search only exists now on paper, but I've scanned it and posted it here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B80ITjM31EVRa3JtQmdzRTYyeEU/edit?usp=sharing

It's basic-looking and there's some grammer and spelling mistakes along the way, but I hope you'll find, above all else, that it captures the spirit of the character and the original series.

DELETED SCENE: PEGASUS HEROES...

In their cool combat outfits, Sheba and Bojay, out to secure the fuel dumps within the Cylon City on Gamoray, prepare for action, in this rare image- a scene I don't actually recall seeing on-air, from part two of The Living Legend.

With thanks to the Sheba's World website for the image.
