CLASSIC IMAGE: "LIKE RIDING IN THE HAND OF GOD!"

In the long forgotten celestial chamber of the Galactica, Captain Apollo enjoys the beauty of the stars, away from war and conflicts, for just a little while, during the beginning to The Hand of God...

Being such a serious character and warrior in the series, it was nice to see Apollo being more relaxed away from his life saving duties and enjoying the simple pleasures of space travel, whilst also savouring the company of his intimate group of friends aboard Galactica. And let's face it, the much-missed Richard Hatch had one of the best and most radiant smiles on TV at that time!

CLASSIC IMAGE: STARBUCK THE CAPTIVE!

As thunder storms prepare to hit the forest around them, the young Attilan warrior Kyle confers with the wounded but recovering Starbuck, recently crash-landed there and temporarily unaware that he is being foolishly used in a prisoner exchange with the Cylons. A dramatic scene from the memorable episode, The Young Lords.

CLASSIC IMAGE: ZAC'S FIERY DEMISE!

His life taken by the destructive force of the thousand-strong Cylon attack force, sadly just short of arriving at the Colonial Fleet, young Zac disappears in a ball of horrific flames in this memorable death scene for actor/musician Rick Springfield from Saga of a Star World.

A DIFFERENT SHAPE TO CRIME AND PUNISHMENT!

When you are stuck in an intergalactic prison for life with generational inmates that look like the stunning Tasha Martel (best known in sci-fi circles as Arlene Martel, playing the logical and deadly wife-to-be for Spock in Classic Star Trek episode Amok Time), seen in Galactica as prisoner Adulteress 58, would escape really be immediately warranted?

A rare posed image of the exotic actress from the popular comedy drama episode, The Long Patrol.

CLASSIC IMAGE: PAST AND FUTURE HEAD GEAR!

Gorgeous fan replica helmet.

Charting an altogether different look for space-faring fighter aces seen in science fiction TV, yet still keeping visual referencing motifs for generic audiences to understand, the design of the Colonial Viper pilot flight helmets proved a stunning achievement for the original series by the acclaimed and versatile Universal Studios costume designer Jean-Pierre Dorleac, what with their deliberate Egyptian-esque referencing and colouring, and which soon proved a fine compliment to the events witnessed within the visuals of Lost Planet of the Gods, and its revelations of the Twelve Colonies of Mankind.
