CLASSIC IMAGE: THE TWO APOLLO'S!

You've got to hand it to modern Galactica developer Ronald D. Moore for having the bright spark of involving original series veteran Richard Hatch in the new series re-imagining: it was a fine crowd-pleasing comeback for original fans and a nice nod to the past, as well as Hatch's previous sterling, if so far sadly unsuccessful, efforts to get a continuation of the original interpretation of the show off the ground. He may not be playing Apollo anymore, that part now inhabited by Jamie Bamber (who'd gave it a different, less heroic, and more fallible edge), but Hatch delivered a consistently excellent performance nonetheless in the guise of new anti-hero character, Tom Zarek.
