Soon passing its incredible 45TH ANNIVERSARY legacy, this is a celebration of the classic, world popular original TV series from 1978, created by Glen A. Larson for UNIVERSAL TELEVISION. Re-live the heroic adventures of the crew of the mighty GALACTICA, fleeing the Cylon tyranny, in its epic search for the lost Thirteenth Tribe on Earth.

DELETED SCENE: PEGASUS HEROES...
In their cool combat outfits, Sheba and Bojay, out to secure the fuel dumps within the Cylon City on Gamoray, prepare for action, in this rare image- a scene I don't actually recall seeing on-air, from part two of The Living Legend.
With thanks to the Sheba's World website for the image.

FIRST REVIEW OF THE 'GALACTICA' MOVIE BLU-RAY...
Christopher Mills at his hugely popular SPACE 1970 blogsite has got the US Blu-ray release of the theatrical release and is overall very happy with it. Check out the review here: space1970: BATTLESTAR GALACTICA (1978) Capsule Blu-ray Review
A helpful source at UNIVERSAL has informed me that UK fans might see the release by the end of the year.
So far, the release is only available from BESTBUY, of which I've been hearing bad things about their overall service States-side: Battlestar Galactica (Bby) - Blu-ray Disc
With thanks to Blu-ray.com for the front and back sleeves.

CLASSIC IMAGE: 'GALACTICA IS HERE!'
Though the magazine was available in several select magazine chains for a year or so, I didn't really discover that marvellous US sci-fi magazine STARLOG 'till around 1978, and it was happily one that had BATTLESTAR GALACTICA on the cover- the mighty vessel and a trio of Cylon Raiders in combat, patched together in those early design composite days before Photoshop ruled the world. Still, it was good enough to catch my eye, and, regrettably for my dad, his wallet- a special treat from him to me (my eight year old self) working with him at his shop that day!

CLASSIC IMAGE: "SHE MISSED ONE. THE CYLON DIDN'T!"
In the Pegasus's cramped Life Station area, Cassiopeia and the Battlestar's medical doctors tend to the injured Sheba, watched by a concerned Starbuck, Apollo and Commander Cain, in a tense scene from The Living Legend part two.
