'GALACTICA' AT 40: FIGHTER CRAFT REALITY!

At the Universal Studios back lot, a technician poses for a very cool behind the scenes photo alongside the singular Colonial Viper prop created for the series entire duration, then held in storage. The vehicle is held by underneath struts. Note that the wing tips are not present, presumably held separately so as not to disintegrate or be damaged.

If anyone has any info who on the technician is, and who took the photo, please get in touch.

'GALACTICA' AT 40: INTRODUCING BOXEY AND MUFFIT!

A posed image taken during filming of Gun on Ice Planet Zero.

Apollo and Serina may do their best to keep them safe and away from harm, but there's no doubt about it-young Boxey (Noah Hathaway) and his lovable replacement Daggit in robot 'Muffey' (Evie the Chimp) are an absolute magnet in attracting trouble, be it from Cylons, reptilian-esque Ovions, and more, in the future beyond the Galactica's exodus from the Twelve Colonies. Intriguingly, the feature film version of Saga of a Star World does not state that Boxey is Serina's child, merely a survivor of the attack on Caprica, unlike the TV version and comic book adaptation.

'GALACTICA' AT 40: $14,000,000 WELL SPENT!

We've seen international variations, but here's the original American/Canadian poster release for the theatrical version of Saga of A Star World from 1978, and it's still a terrific poster too, capturing all the exciting elements of Glen A. Larson's galactic adventure, showcasing man's struggle to survive the might of the deadly Cylons.
