Soon passing its incredible 45TH ANNIVERSARY legacy, this is a celebration of the classic, world popular original TV series from 1978, created by Glen A. Larson for UNIVERSAL TELEVISION. Re-live the heroic adventures of the crew of the mighty GALACTICA, fleeing the Cylon tyranny, in its epic search for the lost Thirteenth Tribe on Earth.

DELETED SCENE: ADAMA QUITS?
A depressed and weary Adama prepares to step down as leader of the fleet, whilst Athena and Apollo try to convince him not to, in a deleted scene from Saga of a Star World eventually seen on the DVD/Blu-ray box set releases of a few years back. Apollo shows his anger at what he perceives as Adama's weaknesses, a thematic character moment that comes back between the pair when Adama has to lie to his son prior to the Carillon celebration/Cylon trap. Additionally, the brother/sister relationship between Apollo/Athena is a very tense one in the deleted scene footage- she considers him cold- a far cry from the much more friendly air between them in the first half of the TV series run.

CLASSIC IMAGE: THEATRICAL WONDERS!
Something that I think was only to appear in the US market was this terrific souvenir magazine poster for the original theatrical version of Saga of a Star World. It comprises many rare images, including a close look at one of the Imperious Leader's lizard pets!
